# Export not found

> 404 — No export job matched the requested `export_id`.

Every PermitCore error is [RFC 9457](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9457)
`application/problem+json`. **Branch on `type` (a stable URI)**, not on `title`
or `detail` (human-readable, may change).

## When it occurs

The `export_id` does not correspond to an export job owned by your account (mistyped, or from a different account).

## How to fix

Confirm the `export_id` via `GET /v1/exports`. See [Exports](/api-reference/exports).

**Not retryable** — fix the request before resubmitting; retrying unchanged returns the same error.
